Douglas Meehan

Douglas Meehan has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Douglas is currently working at Citrine Informatics as the Director of Design since February 2023. Prior to that, they were a Senior Product Designer at the same company from April 2021 to February 2023.

Douglas also has experience as a Founder of Test/Plot Studio, a role they held since June 2013. In this position, they were responsible for founding and managing the studio.

Douglas worked at Vistalogic, Inc as a Senior User Interface Designer from June 2015 to June 2020. In this role, they served as the lead UI/UX designer and front-end developer for Clara, a technology platform that supports community partners in providing assistance to those in need. Douglas was responsible for all aspects of front-end design and development for healthcare and social service organizations.

Douglas worked at James Corner Field Operations as a Project Designer from March 2012 to July 2015. Douglas served as a project designer and project manager for various projects including the Columbia University Manhattanville Campus masterplan and the Patriot Lake phase of Shelby Farms Park.

Douglas was the Founder, Interface Designer, and Web Developer at Possible City from January 2013 to 2015. In this role, they built a web-enabled social mapping platform and developed the necessary tools and technology to support its functionality.

Additionally, Douglas has held positions at Future Green Studio as an Associate Designer from June 2011 to March 2012, at WRT Planning & Design as an Urban Landscape Designer from August 2008 to June 2011, and at the University of Pennsylvania School of Design as an Adjunct Professor in 2011.

Earlier in their career, Douglas worked at Travelocity.com as a Senior Web Designer from April 2002 to August 2004, where they played a key role in redesigning the company's website and implementing web standards. Douglas also served as the Director of Interface Design at Site59.com from April 2000 to April 2002.

Douglas Meehan pursued their undergraduate education at Georgetown University from 1993 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Later, they attended the University of Pennsylvania from 2004 to 2008 to pursue a joint degree program at the Stuart Weitzman School of Design. During this time, they successfully obtained two master's degrees, one in Landscape Architecture and another in City Planning.
