Sydney Frisbie currently serves as the Secretary of the Board of Directors at NAMI Citrus County Inc. since January 2023. Additionally, Sydney has held multiple roles at the Citrus County Sheriff's Office since May 2019, including Substance Abuse Advocate, Employment Representative, and Human Resources Associate. Sydney obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Florida between 2020 and 2022 and earned an Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from the College of Central Florida from 2015 to 2016.

The Citrus County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) is a full-service law enforcement agency serving Citrus County, Florida. Citrus County is located on the west-central coast of the U.S. state of Florida. Citrus County has two incorporated municipalities, the City of Crystal River and the City of Inverness, making the CCSO the only law enforcement agency in the county. The county seat is Inverness, and its largest community is Homosassa Springs. We humbly serve over 150,000 residents and the more than 530,000 people who visit our county every year.
