Katie Myers

Katie Myers, APR has a strong and varied work experience. Katie currently holds the position of Director of Communications and Community Engagement at HCA Florida Citrus Hospital, a role they began in April 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Public Relations and Communication from May 2018 to April 2021, and as the Director of Marketing and Public Relations from October 2014 to May 2018 at the same company. Before joining HCA Florida Citrus Hospital, they worked as a Public Relations Manager from October 2010 to October 2014 and as a Public Relations Coordinator from June 2007 to October 2010.

In addition to their healthcare industry experience, Katie also worked as an Adjunct Professor at Valencia College from August 2006 to May 2007, and as a Graduate Teaching Associate at the University of Central Florida from August 2004 to May 2006.

Katie Myers, APR holds a Master's degree in Mass Communication from the University of Central Florida, which they earned from 2004 to 2006. Prior to this, they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, Behavioral and Social Sciences from the same university, from 2000 to 2003. In 2012, they achieved the certification of "Accredited in Public Relations" from the Universal Accreditation Board.
