Kathy Hickerson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in communications, community engagement, and event management. Currently serving as the Director of Communications and Community Engagement at TriStar Horizon Medical Center since June 2025, Kathy previously held the role of Director of Events and Event Manager at Corpay from May 2022 to June 2025. Prior experience includes serving as Public Information Officer for the Town of Smyrna, Executive Director at the American Red Cross, and Manager of Community Health and Benefit at Saint Thomas Health, where responsibilities included managing the Mobile Health Unit. Additional roles include Project PASS Director at United Way of Rutherford and Cannon Counties, Director of Recruitment at Northwestern Mutual, and English Teacher for Rutherford County Schools. Kathy earned a Bachelor of Science degree in English from Middle Tennessee State University from 1990 to 1994.
