Mario Loera

Mario Loera has extensive experience in healthcare and education, particularly in laboratory and phlebotomy roles. Currently, Mario serves as a Lab Assistant/Phlebotomist at Citrus Valley Health Partners since 2007, specializing in venipuncture blood collection for a diverse patient population and managing send-out specimen processing. Previous positions include a Phlebotomist at Huntington Memorial Hospital and a Paramedical Examiner at ExamOne, where Mario conducted mobile blood draws and health assessments. In addition, Mario has served as a Health Educator, creating educational presentations on disease prevention and partnering with community organizations to promote health initiatives in both English and Spanish. Academically, Mario holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from California State University, Long Beach, alongside a pre-medicine post-baccalaureate certificate from Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science.
