Kenneth Wannemacher, PhD, CMPP

Kenneth Wannemacher, PhD, CMPP has a strong background in scientific and medical writing. Kenneth currently holds the position of Senior Scientific Director at The Curry Rockefeller Group, LLC since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked at ICON plc from January 2015 to May 2022, where they held various roles including Scientific Director, Associate Scientific Director, and Senior Medical Writer. Before joining ICON plc, they worked at ETHOS Health Communications from October 2012 to December 2014, where they served as Associate Scientific Director, Senior Medical Writer, and Medical Writer. Kenneth also worked as a Contract Editor at American Journal Experts from March 2012 to November 2012. Their earliest work experience was as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine from November 2008 to October 2012, focusing on collagen signaling in platelets. Kenneth also worked as a Graduate Student at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey from August 2003 to September 2008.

Kenneth Wannemacher, PhD, CMPP has a strong education background in the field of Biochemistry and Medical Technology. Kenneth first attended the University of Delaware from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Medical Technology. Following this, they pursued further education at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey from 2003 to 2008, earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biochemistry.

In addition to their academic achievements, Kenneth Wannemacher has obtained a professional certification as a Certified Medical Publication Professional™ (CMPP) from the International Society for Medical Publication Professionals (ISMPP) in October 2019.
