Gary Creager

Gary Creager began their work experience in 1982 as the Deputy Chief of Police at the City of Arvada-Arvada Police Department. In this role, they oversaw various divisions and operations within the department, including budget preparation, grant management, policy development, and personnel practices. Gary retired from this position in December 2014. Following their retirement, Creager became the Chief of Police at the City and County of Broomfield in December 2014. In this role, they focused on community policing and developing strong partnerships with residents.

Gary Creager obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Criminal Justice/Police Science from the University of Northern Colorado, where they studied from 1978 to 1982. Gary later pursued a Master's degree in Administration of Justice at the University of Phoenix, completing their studies from 2010 to 2012.
