Austin Yang

Deputy City Attorney at City and County of San Francisco

Austin Yang is a Deputy City Attorney with the City and County of San Francisco since November 2009, contributing to various teams including the Land Use Team since 2017 and the Energy & Telecommunications Team from 2009 to 2017. Yang played a role in the COVID Task Force from 2020 to 2021 and participated in the Amicus Committee and the Affirmative Litigation Task Force from 2016 to 2020. Prior to this position, Yang served as a Legal Research Attorney in the Law and Motion Department at SF Superior Court from August 2007 to August 2009. Academically, Yang earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings) and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Art History, Criticism and Conservation from Wesleyan University.
