David Augustine

David Augustine has extensive experience in tax administration and legal practice, currently serving as the Tax Collector for the City and County of San Francisco since December 2004. Augustine's roles have included Interim Tax Administrator, Tax Collector Attorney, and Policy and Legislative Manager within the same organization. Prior to this, Augustine worked as an Associate Attorney at Orrick, Herrington and Sutcliffe from 2002 to 2004. Academically, Augustine earned a Juris Doctor from Stanford Law School in 2002 and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Swarthmore College in 1996.
