Diana Rivera

Diana Rivera is an experienced professional currently serving as an Employee Relations Representative for the City and County of San Francisco since January 2022, while also working as a Project Consultant for Sustainable Agriculture Education (SAGE) since October 2020. Previously, Rivera held the position of Graduate Research Fellow at the Berkeley Food Institute, focusing on policy research related to labor and employment issues for low-wage and gig workers in the food retail and e-commerce sectors. Additional experience includes roles as a Human Resources Generalist at the University of California, Berkeley, and various positions at UCLA Extension, culminating in expertise in payroll, benefits administration, and accounts receivable. Rivera holds a Master of Public Affairs from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Physiological Science with a Spanish Minor from UCLA.
