Edward Comerford

Edward Comerford, CFA, serves as the Director of Private Markets at the San Francisco Employees' Retirement System (SFERS) since May 2015, where responsibilities include leading the private equity investment team, portfolio strategy development, and cash flow forecasting. Prior roles at SFERS include Director of Real Assets and Senior Portfolio Manager, focusing on real asset investments. Edward is also the founder of JEM Investment Properties, raising equity for residential and multifamily investments from 2007 to 2020. Earlier experience includes positions at Brownson, Rehmus & Foxworth as an Associate, UBS Global Asset Management as a Summer Equity Analyst, A&C Ventures as a Summer Associate, and Hall Capital Partners LLC in both Associate and Analyst roles. Edward holds an MBA in Finance and Real Estate from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Economics from Santa Clara University.
