Kimia Haddadan is the Director of Tenderloin Community Action Initiatives at the City and County of San Francisco, holding this position since January 2011. Haddadan leads efforts to update San Francisco’s Housing Plan with a focus on racial and social equity, shaping housing work programs, priorities, and community partnerships. This role also includes significant projects such as the Housing Element 2022 Update and the design of various housing legislation. Before this, Haddadan served as a Community Development Researcher at T.R.U.S.T South LA, where a policy analysis model for Community Benefits Agreements was developed, and worked in multiple roles in urban planning and redevelopment in Tehran. Haddadan earned a Master's degree in Urban Planning from UCLA.
