Lucas Jennings

Lucas Jennings is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data science, military leadership, operations management, and education. Currently serving as a Senior Administrative Analyst and Lead Data Scientist for the City and County of San Francisco since December 2019, Lucas focuses on reducing jail populations and addressing racial disparities in the criminal justice system through innovative data solutions. A 20-year career in the US Army culminated in the rank of Captain, where strategic leadership in intelligence and counter-terrorism operations was demonstrated, alongside domestic disaster response efforts. Previous roles include transforming operations as Manager of Operations at Union Pacific Railroad, educating students as a Course Instructor at the University of Arkansas, and providing tailored investment strategies as a Wealth Analyst at Morgan Stanley. Lucas holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Arkansas and a Data Science certification from Springboard.
