Jennifer Hamilton, SHRM-CP, PHR began their work experience in 1999 at The Ohio State University as a Production Assistant, a role they held until 2002. In 2002, they joined WCMH-TV, NBC4 as a Production Assistant and remained in that position until 2003. Jennifer then transitioned to City Barbeque, where they initially worked as a Restaurant Teammate from 2003 to 2004. Jennifer then served as an Administrative Assistant from 2004 to 2005 before being promoted to Director of Human Resources, a role they held for 17 years until 2022. Currently, Jennifer is the Director of Compensation & Benefits at City Barbeque, a position they have held since June 2022.

Jennifer Hamilton attended The Ohio State University from 1998 to 2005. Jennifer obtained both their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and Master of Arts (M.A.) degrees in Communication during this time.
