Michael Schutz is an experienced operations leader with a strong background in managing cleaning and facilities services across various sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Cleaning & Trolley Operations at City Facilities Management Australia since December 2024, Michael oversees cleaning and trolley services for over 450 retail sites in Australia and New Zealand. Prior to this, Michael held the position of General Manager at Crown Melbourne, managing a diverse 24/7 team as well as previously being the National Manager for Cleaning at City FM Australia, where responsibilities included managing complex cleaning services nationwide. Michael's extensive experience in the industry also includes a significant tenure at Active Tree Services as General Manager for Victoria, where strategic leadership and contract management were key focuses. Michael holds a Graduate Certificate and a Diploma in Business Management from Swinburne University of Technology, alongside a Diploma in Horticulture from Virginia Horticultural Centre.
