Bryony Kingsland has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Regional Commissioner at the Skills Funding Agency from 2006 to 2011, where they managed a budget to improve and increase work skills for offenders in 29 prisons. Bryony also developed and managed stakeholder relationships and implemented a volunteer mentor support service for offenders exiting prison.

In 2012, Bryony worked on fieldwork and research for the Richard Review of Apprenticeships at the Department of Business, Innovation and Skills. Bryony organized stakeholder engagement events and conducted seminars and workshops.
