Laura Silverman

Laura Silverman is an accomplished journalist and editor with extensive experience in various editorial roles. Currently serving as Deputy Editor at Hearst UK's Country Living since January 2019, Laura has also held several acting and contributing positions within the same publication, enhancing brand strategy and writing features. In addition to editorial work, Laura lectures on journalism at City Lit, creating and delivering diverse courses for aspiring writers. Previous positions include IndyBest Editor at The Independent, Deputy Editor at The Chelsea Magazine Company, and various roles at The Telegraph, The Times, and Daily Mail. Laura holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism from City, University of London, a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Theology from the University of Oxford, and has studied the History of Science at Harvard University.
