Karen Gosnell

Karen Gosnell, CPA, serves as the Senior Vice President for Operational Risk Management Remediation at City National Bank since November 2021, focusing on enhancing the internal control environment and ensuring the remediation of operational risks. Previously, Karen held multiple senior positions at Wells Fargo, including Vice President - Senior Audit Manager, where oversight of audit coverage for various enterprise functions was paramount. Karen's extensive experience also includes a role as Compliance and Operational Risk Executive at Bank of America, alongside significant contributions to Duke Energy Corporation and First Union in financial reporting and accounting management. Karen holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Financial Accounting from the University of North Carolina Asheville.
