Lashawn Bane

LaShawn Bane is an experienced professional in data governance and risk management, currently serving as Senior Vice President of Data Governance at City National Bank since March 2024. Prior to this role, LaShawn held various positions at USAA from April 2019 to March 2024, including Director of Information Governance for Enterprise Risk and Compliance, Lead Quantitative Risk Analyst, and roles focused on information governance. With a solid foundation in research and data management from tenures at Rowan College at Burlington County and earlier roles at RecoverCare LLC, Qwest Communications International Ltd., and the United States Air Force, LaShawn has cultivated a diverse skill set. Academic qualifications include an MBA and a Master's degree in Cyber/Computer Forensics and Counterterrorism from the University of Maryland Global Campus, along with a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology and two Associate’s degrees from Rowan College at Burlington County.
