Paul Wowk

Paul Wowk is an experienced application security professional with a strong background in penetration testing and application security management. Currently serving as the Vice President and Application Security Engineer Lead at City National Bank since September 2021, Paul manages the application security team and oversees related technologies. Prior to this role, Paul worked at Optiv Inc as a Senior Consultant specializing in application penetration testing and related services. Additional experience includes roles at FishNet Security, CAaNES, LLC, and Machine Dynamics Inc, where responsibilities spanned web application penetration testing, application security analysis, and software development. Paul began a career in technology as a Student Intern at Sandia National Laboratories, focusing on software programming and influenza modeling. Paul holds a degree in Computer Science, Business, and Programming from The University of New Mexico.
