Rick Garvin

Rick Garvin has extensive experience in the real estate and finance sectors, currently serving as Vice President and Senior Credit Officer at City National Bank since November 2010, where responsibilities include underwriting commercial development loans. Prior roles include Vice President and REO Asset Manager at the same bank, focusing on asset management and disposition of commercial real estate assets. Rick was previously employed as an Asset Manager at TriMont Real Estate Advisors, overseeing international real estate debt and equity assets, as well as at American Realty Advisors and KBS Realty Advisors, managing substantial investment portfolios across various property types. Rick began a career as an Analyst at Weyerhaeuser Realty Investors, concentrating on equity capital for developers. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Finance from California State University-San Bernardino and a BS in Real Estate from the University of Southern California.
