Vahan Papoian

Vahan Papoian, MBA, currently serves as Senior Credit Officer, Vice President at City National Bank since November 2024. Prior to this role, Vahan held the position of Underwriter, VP - Private Banking at Banc of California from July 2017 to October 2024, managing a portfolio of loan facilities for high net worth clients and specializing in a variety of lending areas. Vahan also gained experience as Credit Officer, AVP in the Entertainment Division at City National Bank from November 2012 to July 2017, focusing on loan analysis, risk classification, and client relationship management for a significant portfolio. Vahan holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of California, Irvine - The Paul Merage School of Business and a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Finance & Real Estate from California State University, Northridge.
