Srinivas Valavala

Srinivas Valavala has extensive experience in stormwater management, currently serving as the Stormwater Services Administrator for the City of Abilene, Texas, since September 2014. Responsibilities include planning and directing activities within the Stormwater Services Division and managing the Stormwater Utility Fee Program and MS4 permit compliance. Previous roles include Stormwater General Manager and Engineer with Richland County Government, as well as academic positions at the University of South Carolina, where Srinivas taught classes and conducted research that led to multiple technical publications. Srinivas holds a PhD in Civil Engineering, an MBA in International Business, and an MS in Civil Engineering from the University of South Carolina, alongside a B Tech in Civil Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.
