Alex Myers

Alex Myers is a skilled professional with a diverse background in project coordination, accreditation processes, and bilingual administration. Currently serving as the Special Projects Coordinator for the City of Aiken, SC, Alex focuses on achieving accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Parks and Recreation Agencies, while also establishing policies and documentation. Previously, Alex held the role of National Hometown Fellow and CAPRA Accreditation Project Manager with Lead For America, fostering Parks and Recreation certification and city master planning. Experience includes managing office operations as a Bilingual Office Manager, conducting social science research as a Telephone Interviewer, and content creation for The Borgen Project. Alex holds a Master's degree in International Relations and Business from American University and a BA in History & International Studies from the University of South Carolina, with additional studies at the University of Warwick.
