Eric Bullen

Fire Chief at City of Albertville

Eric Bullen has a work experience that includes roles in various departments of different cities. Eric began their career in 1995 as a Police Officer for the City of Minneapolis, where they served for 20 years until 2015. In 2002, they joined the City of St. Michael as a Paid-On-Call Fire Fighter and continued until 2021. Finally, in 2006, they became a Paid-On-Call Fire Fighter for the City of Albertville, where they eventually worked their way up to the position of Fire Chief in 2015.

Eric Bullen received their Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Criminal Justice, and History from Gustavus Adolphus College, where they studied from 1989 to 1993. Prior to that, they obtained a diploma from St. Croix Lutheran High School in 1989 and completed college prep studies with a focus on basketball at Apple Valley High School from 1987 to 1988. In addition to their formal education, Eric has also obtained several certifications, including being a Nationally Certified Emergency Medical Technician, completing the Blue Card Incident Command Training Program, and earning certifications in emergency management and fire investigation.
