Sasha Renee Perez

Sasha Renee Perez serves as the Mayor of the City of Alhambra and has held multiple leadership roles, including Vice Mayor. Currently working as a Policy Consultant, Sasha supports clients in State Education Policy, Housing Policy, and Coalition Building. Sasha is also a Commissioner for the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority and serves as an Education Commissioner for the California 100 Initiative. Previous political leadership includes serving as Political Director for the campaign supporting California’s Constitutional Amendment to Protect Abortion Rights and various roles at Campaign for College Opportunity. Sasha's early career included significant contributions to youth leadership programs at the Pat Brown Institute for Public Affairs and engagement with the City of Los Angeles Neighborhood Council. Sasha earned a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Social and Behavioral Economics from California State University, Los Angeles.
