Elissa Malone

Elissa Malone is an accomplished professional in parks and recreation management with a diverse background spanning multiple organizations. Currently serving as the Assistant Director of Parks and Recreation - Operations for the City of Allen since June 2023, Elissa previously held significant roles including Recreation Services Manager at the Town of Little Elm, where management of a new aquatic park was a highlight. Prior experience includes Programming & Fitness Superintendent for the City of Frisco, overseeing a major recreation center, managing multi-million dollar budgets, and leading significant programming initiatives. Elissa's career also encompasses roles in event coordination and community engagement with Special Olympics Texas and various internships in sports management. Elissa holds a Master's degree in Sports Management from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy, Ethics, Society & Law from the University of Toronto.
