Dan Merkel

Dan Merkel, CIC is a City Councilman at the City of Alpharetta since December 2015. Dan is also a Sr. Account Executive at Southern States Insurance since April 2008. Prior to this, Dan was the Vice President at Johnson & Bryan from March 2000 to April 2008. Dan started their career as an Account Executive at AGA Insurance from 1995 to 2000. Dan holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Dayton and is a Certified Insurance Counselor from the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors. Dan has a wealth of experience in managing insurance programs for business owners and providing options for coverage.
