Kelly Quist-Demars

Kelly Quist-Demars serves as the 1st Ward Alderwoman for the City of Amsterdam, New York, since January 2022, while also holding the position of District Operations Manager for the Office of Congressman Paul Tonko since December 2013. Prior experience includes roles as a Constituent Services Representative and Director of Legislative Operation at Schenectady County, where responsibilities encompassed office administration, event programming, and public communications. Kelly has also contributed to political campaigns, including serving as Deputy Campaign Manager for Susan Savage's State Senate campaign, and has an educational background as a teacher in various schools. Kelly holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from Clarkson University and a Bachelor of Arts in History, Political Science, and Education from Siena College.
