Cheryl Neuwirth

Cheryl Neuwirth, MLIS, currently serves as a Library Technology Assistant at the City of Anacortes, beginning in August 2023. Prior to this role, Cheryl held various positions at Urgenci from May 2021 to January 2023, including Director of Systems and Operations, where responsibilities encompassed managing operational systems, leading a high-performing recruiting team, and implementing strategic sourcing processes. Cheryl's earlier experience includes roles such as Sourcing Lead at Avra Talent, where Cheryl enhanced candidate sourcing strategies, and various library positions that focused on public services, technology integration, and community programming. Cheryl holds a Master of Library & Information Science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Art History from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, along with study abroad experience in Art History at Richmond, The American International University in London.
