Jamie Praslicka

Jamie Praslicka is an experienced emergency management professional currently serving as the Emergency Management Coordinator for the City of Angleton since June 2023. Prior to this role, Jamie was the County Liaison Officer for Brazoria/Region 2 at the Texas Division of Emergency Management from June 2022 to June 2023. Jamie's extensive background in emergency medical services includes positions such as Clinical Coordinator, Paramedic, and Deputy Chief at the Angleton Area Emergency Medical Corps from October 2008 to March 2022, with responsibilities including the management of continuing education programs and the Controlled Substance Ordering System. Jamie holds a Bachelor of Applied Technology in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Brazosport College, completed between 2014 and 2017, and has completed multiple courses at the National Fire Academy.
