Michael Schrock Jr.

Michael Schrock Jr. currently serves as the Assistant City Manager for the City of Ankeny since November 2021. Prior to this role, Michael held the position of City Manager for the City of Oskaloosa from 2009 until November 2021. Michael's earlier experience includes various roles with the City of Surprise from October 2002 to February 2009, including Director of Management & Budget, Interim Public Works Director, Assistant to the City Manager, and Assistant to the City Attorney. Michael holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) with a focus on Local Government from the University of Arizona and a Bachelor of Science in Justice Studies from Arizona State University.
