Andre Anderson

Andre Anderson is the current Police Chief in Ann Arbor, Michigan, a position held since December 2023. Prior to this role, Andre served as the Executive Assistant Chief in Tempe, Arizona, from 2021 to September 2023, overseeing police operations for a large and diverse community. With extensive experience spanning over 28 years in law enforcement, Andre held the title of Executive Deputy Police Chief with the Rochester New York Police Department from May 2020 to June 2021 and served as Interim Police Chief in Ferguson, Missouri, in 2015. Andre's career also includes 16 years in leadership positions at the Glendale Police Department in Arizona. Andre holds a Bachelor's degree in Public Safety Administration from Grand Canyon University and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Northern Arizona University.
