Arin Yu

Arin Yu has a strong background in urban planning and marketing, currently serving as a Housing Commission Planning Specialist for the City of Ann Arbor since March 2021. Prior roles include serving as a Housing Commission Assistant and holding positions such as Marketing & Communications Editorial Assistant at Taubman College of Architecture + Urban Planning, Design Researcher at Impact Design Collaborative, and Research Assistant at the University of Michigan College of Literature, Science, and the Arts. Arin also gained valuable experience in marketing through internships and fellowships, including Marketing Intern & Content Creator at Sea Going Green and Social Media Strategist at SHEI Magazine. Arin holds a Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Taubman College and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sustainable Urbanism and Food Systems from the University of Michigan.
