Kayla Coleman possesses extensive experience in project management and community engagement, currently serving as the Capital Projects Asset Manager for the City of Ann Arbor since August 2010. Previous roles include Systems Planning Analyst-Community Engagement Specialist, Procedures and Documentation Specialist, and Water Resources Program Assistant, wherein Kayla coordinated stakeholder engagement, developed standard operating procedures, and facilitated public participation in city infrastructure projects. Prior to these positions, Kayla gained experience as an Environmental Protection Specialist through an internship with the US EPA and as a GIS Intern with the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Public Administration from Eastern Michigan University and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies and Applications from Michigan State University.
