Monica Boote

Monica Boote is a seasoned professional in Human Resources and Labor Relations, currently serving as the Human Resources and Labor Relations Director for the City of Ann Arbor since June 2024. Prior to this role, Monica held the position of Human Resources Manager at the Ann Arbor Area Transportation Authority (TheRide) from November 2022 to June 2024. Monica's extensive experience in the field includes a long tenure as the Executive Director of Human Resources for Washtenaw County from March 1997 until December 2022. Monica obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration, Psychology, and Sociology from the University of Michigan, completing studies from 1989 to 1994.
