Katie Talhelm

Katie Talhelm, MLS, is a seasoned library and program services manager with extensive experience in youth programming and administrative coordination. Currently serving as the Library Service Manager for Youth Services at the City of Arlington since December 2021, Talhelm leads a team of 12 in planning and implementing diverse programs and resources for children and teens. Previously, Talhelm managed the Children's and Teen programming department at the Victoria Public Library, overseeing a team focused on youth engagement. Talhelm's background also includes roles as an Administrative Coordinator at Texas A&M University, where responsibilities included managing the Commandant's schedule, and as a Senior Analyst at Real Time Resolutions, where research and compliance were key functions. Talhelm holds a Master of Library Science from Texas Woman's University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Baylor University.
