Michael Lark

Michael Lark, MPA, is an experienced financial administrator with a strong background in municipal finance and operations. Currently serving as the Financial Administrator for the City of Arlington since April 2015, Michael oversees the financial and administrative strategies for an $84 million municipal fire department, integrating financial planning, data analytics, and HR leadership. Previous roles include IT and Operations Analyst and Operations Analyst within the same department, as well as Senior Budget and Financial Analyst and Budget and Financial Analyst at the City of Irving. Michael's experience extends to project management and data analysis, including a tenure at Lender Processing Services, Inc., overseeing compliance for certified flood insurance loans. Michael holds a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from The University of Texas at Arlington.
