Nora Coronado

Nora Coronado, MPA, CPM, serves as the Director and Senior Asset Officer for the City of Arlington, with over 17 years of experience since joining the organization in July 2006. Coronado directs five management teams overseeing public facility construction, fleet maintenance, solid waste management, and budget support, managing over $100 million in construction projects and $4 million in revenue. Notable accomplishments include successfully introducing state and federal legislation and securing multi-year funding for transit programs for citizens with special needs. Previous roles include Acting Assistant Director, Project Coordinator, and Grants Coordinator, with responsibilities in intergovernmental relations and grant management. Coronado is also a member of the ICMA Fellowship Program Class of 2016. Educational credentials include a Master of Public Administration from Arizona State University and dual bachelor's degrees in Journalism and Spanish Literature from The University of Texas at Austin.
