Environmental Health And Sustainability Manager at City of Aspen

Tessa Schreiner serves as the Sustainability Manager for the City of Aspen since July 2021, leading a team to advance climate action and sustainability initiatives aimed at achieving greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets. Previously, Tessa held the position of Climate and Sustainability Programs Administrator at the City of Aspen, focusing on energy efficiency policies for large buildings. From March 2015 to July 2021, Tessa was the Sustainability Manager for Leon County Government, where leadership was provided in developing sustainability programs and implementing the Integrated Sustainability Action Plan. Earlier experience includes work as a Sustainability Consultant for Small World Journeys, a Sustainability Specialist with The Sustany Foundation, and a Teaching Assistant for Ministerio de Educación in Spain. Tessa holds a Master of Arts in Global Sustainability from the University of South Florida and a Bachelor of Arts in International Business from Rollins College.
