Tez Andrews

Tez Andrews has a diverse work experience with a strong background in IT and leadership roles. Tez is currently working as the IT Director of Application & Development at the City of Atlanta, where they maximize cost and efficiencies through personnel and project management. Prior to this, they founded and managed ConnectSportsATL, an outreach program aimed at bringing families together through mentoring, education, and sports programs. Tez also served as the Lead Pastor at Connect Church, focusing on community outreach and engagement. Tez Andrews has also held positions as the Director of Operations at QA Pro Information Technology Firm and the Director of IT at the North American Mission Board. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated strong skills in business analysis, project management, and quality assurance.

Tez Andrews has a Master's Degree in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration from Dallas Theological Seminary, which was obtained from 2006 to 2009. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies/Leadership from Carver Bible College from 2001 to 2005. In 1997, Tez attended Chattahoochee Technical College for Information Technology studies, and in the same year, they also obtained an Associate degree in Computer Information Systems from Technical. Alongside their formal education, Tez has obtained several certifications including Professional Scrum Master™ I (PSM I) from Scrum.org in 2022, DevOps Certified from Interop in 2018, and various IBM certifications between 2003 and 2005. They also obtained CompTIA A+ certification in 1999.
