Youlanda Carr, CPA has a comprehensive work experience in finance and accounting. Youlanda started their career at Turner Broadcasting in 2001, where they performed financial analyses and conducted research on accounting-related issues. Youlanda later joined the City of Atlanta in 2004, where they held various roles, including Revenue Director, Director of Budget, Chief of Budget and Fiscal Policy, Controller, Interim Deputy CFO, and currently, Deputy CFO. Throughout their career, Youlanda has demonstrated their expertise in overseeing accounting operations, formulating budgets, and making financial policy decisions. Youlanda has also presented at industry conferences and excelled in managing large financial projects.
Youlanda Carr, CPA has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Georgia State University, which they obtained from 1990 to 1994. Youlanda further pursued a Master's degree in Management Information Systems, General from Mercer University from 2000 to 2002. In 2016, they attended the KPMG Executive Leadership Institute for Women. Additionally, they hold a certification as a Certified Public Accountant.
