Nick Krystyniak

Nick Krystyniak has over a decade of experience in public safety and communications, currently serving as Clerk III in the Police Records Bureau at the City of Auburn Hills since July 2020. In this role, Nick contributed to the Body Worn Camera Committee and provides backup support as a Property & Evidence Technician. Prior to this, Nick worked at Bloomfield Township from October 2016 to July 2020, first as a Communications Training Officer, responsible for training new dispatchers, and earlier as a Police & Fire Dispatcher, where Nick improved departmental communication protocols. Nick's career began at the City of Auburn Hills from January 2013 to July 2016, where Nick also focused on training and emergency dispatching. Additionally, Nick has experience in loss prevention from time spent as an Executive Team Leader at Target. Nick holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Michigan State University, specializing in Security Management.
