Ricky Romero

Ricky Romero currently serves as a Ridge Fire Academy Instructor at Ridge Technical College since February 2023 and holds the position of Lieutenant at the City of Auburndale, a role attained in October 2023 after progressing from Firefighter and Senior Firefighter since April 2020. Prior experience includes serving as Transport Coordinator Supervisor at American Medical Response for nearly a decade, Firefighter at the City of Zephyrhills, and Volunteer Firefighter/EMT for Pasco County Government. Additional roles include Emergency Medical Technician at Baylor Scott & White Health and Firefighter/EMT in Killeen, Texas, beginning as a volunteer and transitioning to a paid position. Ricky Romero holds an Associate of Arts degree in Multi-/Interdisciplinary Studies from Central Texas College, earned between 2005 and 2008.
