Dawn Jewell is an experienced Water Resource Manager for the City of Aurora, overseeing the South Platte River Basin Program since September 2007. In this role, Dawn manages the development of new and existing water rights, ensures compliance with Colorado Water Law, and protects the city’s water resources. Prior to this position, Dawn served as a Senior Plan Specialist at JPMorgan Chase RPS, specializing in Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution Plans from April 2000 to September 2007. Earlier career experience includes work as a Hydrologic Technician at the U.S. Geological Survey, focusing on GIS mapping and water sample analysis. Dawn holds a degree in Land Use and Environmental Science from Metropolitan State College of Denver, earned between 1993 and 1999.
