Abigail Hernandez

Abigail Hernandez is an experienced Engineering Technician currently employed at the City of Aurora since April 2023. Previously, Abigail worked as a Civil Engineering Technician II at 180 Engineering from January 2023 to September 2024, and as an Engineering Technician at Peerless-AV from May 2022 to January 2023. Prior to these roles, Abigail gained experience as a Forklift Operator and Office Clerk at LTD Commodities, where responsibilities included order fulfillment, database management, and training associates. Early career included a position as a Customer Service Representative at Round 1 Bowling & Amusement. Abigail holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Northern Illinois University (April 2022 - May 2024) and an Associate's degree in CAD/CADD Drafting and Design Technology from Waubonsee Community College (2020 - 2023). Additionally, Abigail pursued studies in Computer Science at Aurora University from 2016 to 2017.
