Adrienne S.

Adrienne S. has extensive experience in the public health and nonprofit sectors. Adrienne currently holds the position of Director at Austin Public Health, a role they began in January 2022. Prior to this, Adrienne served as the Assistant Director at Austin Public Health from October 2018 to January 2022. Before joining the City of Austin, Adrienne worked at the YMCA of Austin as the Executive Director from August 2008 to November 2012. Adrienne also held the position of Executive Director at the YMCA of Greater Providence from December 2007 to August 2008. Adrienne's career in the nonprofit sector began at the YMCA of Greater Boston, where they served as the Executive Director from June 2002 to December 2007. During their time there, they achieved notable accomplishments such as securing funding for youth programs, increasing the number of youth served annually, and launching the organization's first dedicated Youth Development Center.

Adrienne S. obtained a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from Boston University, which they attended from 1987 to 1991.
