Alyssa Armstrong

Alyssa Armstrong is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in public information and media relations. Since February 2020, Alyssa has served as a Public Information Specialist Sr. at the City of Austin, focusing on internal communications for Austin Resource Recovery and producing various written content. Previously, Alyssa worked at the City of Lancaster from October 2015 to January 2020, where roles included Communications Specialist and Assistant Communications Specialist, encompassing tasks such as copyrighting, media monitoring, and social media management. Earlier experience includes an Administrative Assistant position at the City of Lancaster and a Receptionist role at KCLU 88.3 FM. Alyssa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from California Lutheran University, obtained in 2015.
