Chad Presley

Chad Presley, MBA, serves as the Chief Administrative Officer for the City of Austin since November 2012, overseeing a total annual budget of $103 million, which includes $81 million for operational needs and $22 million for capital expenditures. Previous experience includes founding and leading Precision Cleaning Systems while also acting as City Manager for Marietta, Ohio, where responsibilities included comprehensive analysis and management of city departments. Chad Presley’s background also includes serving as Deputy Sheriff for the Hamilton County Sheriff's Department and as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps. Academic credentials comprise a Master of Business Administration from The Ohio State University, a Graduate Certificate in Project Management from Boston University, and a bachelor's degree with a double major in Public Administration and History from Miami University.
