Colleen Pate

Colleen Pate currently serves as Chief of Staff to the Mayor of Austin, Kirk Watson, since January 2023. Prior to this role, Colleen was Chief of Staff at the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce from July 2020 to January 2023. Colleen's career includes significant experience at The Nature Conservancy, holding positions as Director of Philanthropy Operations and part-time Philanthropy Coordinator from December 2009 to July 2020. Earlier roles include Branch Administration Manager at Columbus Bank and Trust, where Colleen supported 18 branch locations, and Assistant Branch Manager at Bank and Trust, where Colleen began in the Branch Management Associate Training Program. Colleen was also a Loaned Executive for the United Way Annual Campaign and completed marketing internships at Zoomworks and NetBotz. Colleen earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from The University of Georgia in 2005.
